Although down a couple of ticks from yesterday...WOW...121 Yen per dollar. Not good at all for Hawaii tourism, but great if you're going East.

I need to consider a trip in the very near future. I know that my "bicycle insider" may be considering one!

The "blue suits" were somehow convinced, at least for a month or so, and have allowed BOTH drifting and autocross to happen at Aloha Stadium...I can't quite believe it!

I cycled by on Jan. 6th for the Drift Event and the promoters had put up some dust screens so people who didn't pay couldn't freeload outside of the gates. But on Jan. 7th, the screens were down and the Autocross went as scheduled on a slightly damp course for the early runners.

I decided to run with my brother's car: my car blog.

Tadd Flyin Like An Eagle - Sony Open Hawaii

This kid has got GUTS!!!

The only Hawaii player to make the cut AND the YOUNGEST player to make the cut in the last 50 years in a PGA tour event is Moanalua's :-) 16 year old amateur Tadd Fujikawa.

Not only that, he is in 25th place after 2 rounds! But MOST IMPRESSIVE was his super gutsy birdie - eagle finish today. Man...this kid got some big a$$ b@lls!!!

Go get'um tomorrow Tadd...

Now this is why I carry my camera all the time...

I little after 6pm this afternoon, I noticed a very warm light outside a window. Went outside and THIS is what it looked like.

Although for only a few minutes...one of the most BRILLIANT sunsets I've ever seen in my life! No doubt caused by the low clouds and the strange windy and rainy weather we've been having this week.

Now imagine if I didn't have my camera. I would have still enjoyed the sunset...but, it would have only been a snapshot stored in my brain...to eventually fade away in time like the settng sun...

Now, I can always remember...
