...the Ugly... .

...and now for the Ugly...

I knew Floyd Landis was the "man," but this is too much.

Floyd is now under suspicion of using testosterone in his bid to win the TDF. I really hope it isn't true...but since his previous test didn't show any indication of high testosterone, I think things don't look to good for him.

Now, it has been proven in the past that some cyclist are more "manly" than others, take into consideration Santiago Botero. He has proven over countless tests, that his body naturally produces higher levels of testosterone, compared to other riders. He even got a special waiver from the UCI for his more manly condition.

We'll just have to wait and see once Floyd's test for pharmaceutical testosterone is run...

The Good and the Bad...

The Good: Over the last 24 hours or so, Daniel went from a hurricane to a tropical storm to a tropical depression. Hopefully it stays that way, but in any event, Daniel is suppose to bring lots of rain this weekend. That means I really gotta make an effort to get in a bit of riding during the next couple of days before the rain comes.

The Bad: Found out that a dumba$$ drunk driver hit our friend Lisa, one of the best female cyclist in the state, while she was out riding this past Sunday in Waimanalo. Heard she is pretty banged up with some back surgery scheduled and hopefully she will make a full recovery - keep you fingers crossed. I tell you, these fu@kheads who get behind the wheel of a car when they can't handle should be thrown in jail. Everybody be careful out there.

Heads Up!

After a couple of days of extremely hot and humid weather, last night and today has been decently cool and breezy. But now we have some possible trouble lurking to our West as hurricane Daniel is on a predicted path right for our Islands.

Keep your fingers crossed that it looses its steam before it gets here.

I Can't Take Anymore...

American funded Death and Destruction falls like rain on the citizens of Lebanon, and all the while, the US leadership meekly stands on the sidelines implicitly condoning the violence.

And each minute our government waits, innocent people, men, women and children, are being maimed, killed, and displaced from their homes in a barbaric and Machiavellian manner.

1:07 A.M. - Turn Off the Light

1:07 A.M. and LATE on a Saturday nite.

It would be early in my clubbing days, but nowadays, it causes me to start riding my bike way too late the next day.

Like today(yesterday), I did almost 4 hours, starting at 1:15P.M. But with my new computer, this seems to be getting to be a habit.

My kind of music... This cool song by Nelly Furtado is what I gotta do...

Missiles, Shoes and Bikes

What a week...

Missiles: After finding out that HAWAII (Honolulu Starbulletin Article) was the target of the Idiot's good buddy, Kim Jong il's missile test, I was considering selling everything and moving to some deserted island. From everything the Idiot's has said at his press conferences, it's obvious that Idiot and Co. don't have a clue on what to do. The Idiot mentioned that no one needs to worry since the missile wasn't targeting the United States. Seems like someone forgot to tell the Idiot that Hawaii is part of the good ol' USA. What an IMBECILE! But...life must go on...

Nike's: Got these new 2005 model Air Pegasus' at McCully for only $56 bucks! So far I've got 3 runs in them for a total of about 10 or 11 miles and the ride is firmer and much more supportive. I guess my old pair was really blown out already.

Bike: Been busy setting up a new TT rig. Click here to see: New TT Bike. I think I'll be TT'ing much faster on this thing...
