Thou Shalt Not Kill...

Unlike when I was a little younger, for some reason, nowadays, I just can't bring myself to kill many of this earth's other living creatures. In fact, I have gone really out of my way, many times, to "save" little bugs and lizards and worms and mice and geckos and birds and etc.

Like yesterday afternoon, for instance, I found this baby Wolf Spider running around inside of my parent's house. Instead of killing it, me and my mom caught the spider and took it outside to freedom!

The little guy must have been super scared though, since while trying to catch him, he rolled over into a ball and played dead several times. When I let him go in our backyard, he looked really shocked to be set free. I think he was just relieved knowing that not all humans are the type that would just kill him for no good reason...
